Who it's for

Leaders and teams across RBC weighing whether to bring their next big tech idea to the bank's innovation team.

Company culture videos for an RBC team whose coworkers include two robots.

RBC's Technology & Operations Innovation team wanted leaders across the bank to really get to know them, so The Innovation Lab became three company culture videos. This was a bank team with two robots on staff (screens on wheels that let remote teammates roll around the office), so one buttoned-up corporate video was never going to cover it. Each film got its own mood: the big picture, the fun stuff and the people.

The challenge
RBC's innovation team needed the rest of the bank to know who they were, what they did and why they were worth a call.
What we made
Three interview-led films, each with its own mood, plus a short social cut of each and a quick vertical montage.
The result
RBC put the films to work internally, other teams across the bank borrowed them for their own use, and the social cuts ran on its channels.
